2009 Virginia Teach Interns

Apply for the 2010 Internship Program beginning in fall of 2009.

Who: All sophomores with potential interest in teaching math are invited to apply.

What: Internships pay sophomores $450 to work with a mentor teacher and assist in classroom activities.

When: Interns will work for 5 half-days during Spring Break 2010.

Where: Interns will be placed in a classroom in either Eastern Montgomery High School or Shawsville Middle School (both in Montgomery county).

Why: Internships provide sophomores with an opportunity to learn what teaching entails.

How: Apply by completing the survey at the link below. The due date for all applications is November 13. Successful applicants will be notified before the end of the semester.
